Indiana University Credit Union, with branches located in Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Gary, Indianapolis, Kokomo, New Albany and South Bend, Indiana, is offering student perks. The best student perk is its student referral bonus where you can have a chance to earn a $500 bonus aside from the $10 bonus for each new student member you refer to the credit union.

Here is how to join. Simply complete a Refer-a-Student coupon and give it to the student you’re referring and ask them to submit the completed coupon when they open their account. You can refer as many students as you want but you must be a member of the credit union.

You will earn $10 for each fellow student you refer to the IU credit union who opens an account until September 30, 2009, plus if you refer the most friends during the promo period August 20 through September 30, 2009, you will get a chance to receive the $500 bonus.

The $500 bonus will be given in the form of MasterCard Gift Card but the credit union may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
